Cotton wool for the masses

I read last night that Scouts in Britain are no longer allowed to wear their knives on their belts as it promotes knife culture. Give me a break! The health and safety/protective environment which currently surrounds us in Britain is threatening to 'whitebread' us into submission, not allowing us to win or lose - we're all winners now - not allowing us to speak out about anything which moves us - in case we offend someone -not allowing our children to climb trees - in case they hurt themselves - and so on and so on.

If there are no losers, how will anyone feel proud that they have won?

If you must always edit what you speak about, how will we ever have challenging conversations?

If a child is never hurt, how will they learn what you can and can't do?
